Tottenham Hotspur loaned out Mikey Moore to Rangers with the intention of getting the youngster more game time.

However, they may not have expected just how successful the move has ultimately turned out to be which has seen his value shoot up over the season.

Moore is quickly becoming a fan favourite up in Scotland, with plenty of supporters in Glasgow wanting him to remain at Ibrox.

Ultimately, that decision will rely on Tottenham and what they intend to do with their academy prospect. Nonetheless, the Lilywhites are in a strong negotiating position should they decide his future is not in N17.

As Tottenham's summer window looms around the corner, with the threat of relegation in North London, Moore's value has begun to soar away from Spurs.

Mikey Moore's valuation in Scotland reaches all-time high

Moore is one of Tottenham's top talents, so his exploits out in Glasgow will not surprise many in N17.

However, his ever-rising value will certainly pique plenty of eyebrow raises as his efforts for Rangers have seen him soar to the top of the rankings.

Among every player in the Scottish Premiership, the 18-year-old is valued higher than anyone else.

CIES Football Observatory's latest update to their fair market value index has seen Moore valued between £22.6million and £26.1m.

It is quite the increase from his previous value, which peaked at £17m back in March.

That increase is a clear indicator that the decision to send the winger out on loan has borne the fruit expected; now hopefully, his time as a key player for Tottenham is just around the corner.

Mikey Moore has a part to play for Tottenham next season

No matter which league Tottenham end up in, Moore must have a prominent role to play. Throughout his Rangers loan, he has proven to be a decisive figure at the upper ends of a league table.

His fearlessness on the ball is something lacking at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season, and quality out wide could be added to next season's squad.

The increase in value must not be a sign for Tottenham to cash in, but rather evidence that the teenager is ready to step up.

Roberto De Zerbi must integrate Moore into his setup, as it could end up saving the Lilywhites quite a lot of money in the transfer market.
