Tottenham ‘must heed’ O’Hara advice if progression is to be achieved

Jamie O’Hara revealed who he would sell at Tottenham this summer, and the majority make perfect sense.

Tottenham will have to overcome a 1-0 deficit against AZ Alkmaar if they are to have any success in the Europa League this season, otherwise this campaign will fizzle out in misery.

Any hopes of league success were curetailed a long time ago for Tottenham, and one of the main reasons behind that rgeression has been the recruitment.

While Ange Postecoglou has to shoulder some of the blame alongside the players, the level of quality among the squad has come under question on many occasions, and until that is rectified, things are unlikely to improve.

Son-Heung Min among those ‘to be sold’ by Tottenham

Throughout the campaign, several players have massively underperformed, but very few as much as Son-Heung Min, who has very quickly gone from being one of the best attackers in the Premier League to being one of the biggest concerns at Tottenham.

His regression on the pitch has been a painful watch, and this summer will provide the last opportunity for Spurs to get a handsome fee for his services, with O’Hara insisting that Son should be sold.

Given the fact he has failed to impress for the majority of the campaign, its highly unlikely that it will change next season, and the money from his sale would go a long way towards addressing the growing list of concerns.

Of course, Son isn’t the only player to have featured on O’Hara’s list of players to be axed, with the likes of Richarlison and Timo Werner also present, and it’s hard to make an argument against his claims.

Tottenham must attack summer window with ambition

Perhaps the biggest question that Spurs fans have had of Daniel Levy is where his ambition lies.

Those in doubt will get a clear answer to their concerns this summer, with Spurs in need of some major investment in the right players in order to get back to a side capable of challenging t the top end of the table.

Given the fact that outside of the Europa League, there is nothing left to play for, Spurs should already have one foot in the summer market in a bid to address these long-standing concerns.
