Tottenham fans ‘will be livid’ with Daniel Levy after double transfer latest
Tottenham have had an average transfer window so far.
Daniel Levy needs to back Thomas Frank to get the right players through the door if Spurs are to compete in the Champions League.
It started off with the capture of Mohammed Kudus from West Ham, a promising addition, but it has since gone downhill rapidly.
A move for Morgan Gibbs-White was shelved after the way that Tottenham’s approach was conducted, and they are set to miss out on two of their backup targets.

Man City pair that Tottenham liked set to move elsewhere
Tottenham were linked with James McAtee and Jack Grealish, but they are set to miss out on both Manchester City stars.
The former is set to join Nottingham Forest, with an agreement in place between the two clubs on a fee that will exceed £20million.
Meanwhile, Grealish has agreed terms with Everton to join on a season-long loan deal, so does not look like joining Spurs.

Tottenham need an attacking midfield signing
Levy could still put a rabbit out of the hat, with a signing like Liverpool star Harvey Elliott or Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers.
However, with just under three weeks left in the transfer window, they are running out of time, and supporters will be livid if they fail to bring anyone in.
Spurs’ signings so far:
- Mohammed Kudus – £55m
- Mathys Tel – £30.3m
- Kevin Danso – £21.6m
- Luka Vuskovic – £9.5m
- Kota Takai – £5m
- Joao Palhinha – loan
They desperately need a new attacking midfielder, as James Maddison has been ruled out for between six to seven months with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
A loan for Grealish would have been an ideal addition because there is little risk attached, and once Maddison is back, they could send him back to City at the end of the campaign with no obligation to buy.
McAtee for around £20m would have also been a solid deal; he showcased his talent in brief cameos for City and on the global stage with England Under-21s as they retained their European Championship title.
The feeling is that he is set to enjoy a Cole Palmer-like rise when he leaves the Etihad Stadium, but it will not be at Tottenham.
It is a familiar feeling for Lilywhites supporters, Levy not filling the squad with enough quality, and they will be furious with the latest developments.
