‘Tottenham can now launch £20m Hayden Hackney transfer’ as deal agreed
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank could make Championship prodigy Hayden Hackney his first signing of the new era.
Hackney, 22, has impressed since coming through the Middlesbrough academy and has been scouted by Crystal Palace and Manchester United.
Now, Spurs could try and sign the Boro star, who scored against Chelsea in the League Cup semi-final last year.

Hackney could be the perfect first signing for Frank
Frank has agreed a deal with Tottenham to leave Brentford after seven years in charge, with Spurs activating the Dane’s £10 million release clause.
The new Tottenham boss replaced Postecoglou after his sudden sacking and is looking to improve the squad this summer.
Hackney would be the perfect first signing under Frank.
Last season, Spurs lacked any consistent midfield pairing and Hackney can help fix the Lilywhites’ woes.
The Middlesbrough-born youngster works well alongside a holding midfielder as he plays in a more progressive style.
Brentford had been interested in Hackney while Frank was in charge and he could now make the move while at Spurs.
According to Teesside Live, Frank will look to make Boro’s England Under-21 midfielder one of his first signings after he completed the switch from Brentford.

Boro have been bracing themselves for interest in Hackney, who is currently on England duty ahead of the U21 EUROS later this summer.
The midfielder came through under former Spurs player Michael Carrick at Middlesbrough, and reports this week have claimed a £20m offer could soon arrive.
Frank has a record of developing young talent at Brentford having helped the likes of Ollie Watkins and Ivan Tony reach their potential.
Frank could also reunite with Bryan Mbeumo this summer as he has been heavily linked with a move across London.
Mbeumo had been in talks with Man United, but the lure of Champions League football and his former manager could convince the Cameroon international to join Spurs instead.

Hackney offers what Tottenham need
Tottenham’s midfield has been easy to break through this season, which has led to their defensive record being undesirable.
Hackney offers a solution to that while also helping Spurs going forward.
The box-to-box midfielder managed five goals and three assists last season and would be the perfect fit at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
At £20 million, Hackney could prove a bargain for Spurs in what is set to be a competitive transfer window.
Tottenham are set for a busy summer as Frank plans for next season.
Son Heung-min could leave the club and Mathys Tel could return in his place ahead of next season.
