Tottenham ace ‘Richarlison to be buzzing’ as managerial appointment now confirmed
Tottenham attacker Richarlison has had an underwhelming spell in North London since joining from Everton in 2022.
Richarlison has struggled to make a consistent impact at Tottenham under several different managers, and could depart this summer.
Ange Postecoglou’s future at Spurs is far from certain, and it was even reported that Richarlison will wait to see what the managerial situation is at the club before deciding his own future.
One appointment has now been announced, which will delight the 27-year-old and may even help him get his form back on track at Tottenham.

Carlo Ancelotti appointed as Brazil manager
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has now been announced as Brazil’s new manager despite links with Tottenham, and will take over the national side in the coming weeks.
Brazil have endured a difficult few years in which they have underwhelmed in tournaments, but they will hope that the appointment of Ancelotti can help them win the 2026 World Cup.
Manager | Appearances | Goals |
Ange Postecoglou | 52 | 17 |
Carlo Ancelotti | 59 | 20 |
Richarlison is currently Brazil’s first-choice striker, and started for them in Qatar during the last tournament, just months after he signed for Tottenham.
The attacker also worked with Ancelotti during the Italian’s year at Everton, and thrived under his management. Now, he will have the chance to work with him again.

Ancelotti can help Richarlison can improve Tottenham form
Richarlison has been short of opportunities and confidence under Postecoglou, and his form has not hit the heights he reached at Everton under Ancelotti and Frank Lampard.
Under Ancelotti, Richarlison scored 20 goals in 59 games, but this also came with the attacker featuring on the left wing as well as a striker, and delivered his best all-round performances.
If he continues to start for Brazil as Ancelotti comes in, Richarlison could gain his confidence back by working with the Italian, and if he is firing for Brazil, he may well carry that form into his Spurs performances.
That is if Richarlison chooses to stay in North London, but Spurs may realise that their asset could increase his own value if his form takes an upturn after working with Ancelotti again.
