Three strikers Tottenham could sign on deadline day after Dominic Solanke injury blow
Tottenham could be forced back into the transfer market after the latest news on Dominic Solanke.
Richarlison has led the line admirably for Spurs so far this season, notching three goal contributions in as many league matches.
Solanke was absent for Tottenham’s defeat to Bournemouth, with the Lilywhites suffering a 1-0 loss at home.
Now, with Solanke set for a long spell on the sidelines, the North London club may decide to strengthen as Tottenham News identifies three potential targets.

Randal Kolo Muani could replace Dominic Solanke at Tottenham
Solanke has endured a difficult start under Thomas Frank and has been unable to make an impact due to injury.
Now, Solanke’s ankle injury is worse than the North London club first feared and will face an extended spell on the sidelines, with surgery a possibility, according to Jake Saunders on 1 August.
- Spurs signed Solanke for £65million
- He only managed nine league goals in his first season in North London
- Solanke netted 14 goals in all competitions
However, Tottenham could sanction a move for Randal Kolo Muani, whose future is uncertain at PSG.
The Lilywhites have reportedly enquired about the France international, but face competition from Newcastle United.
Kolo Muani spent the second half of last season on loan with Juventus and would be a stellar option for Frank.
Given the experience he has in World and European football, Spurs could do a lot worse than the 25-year-old.

Spurs could beat Newcastle United to Yoane Wissa
It was thought that Tottenham would be beaten by Newcastle to Wissa, but he has since remained at Brentford.
The 28-year-old enjoyed an outstanding season in West London last term under the stewardship of Frank.
However, this season he has been absent for the Bees as Wissa is adamant he wants to leave before the deadline closes.
Seeing that he is still a Brentford player, Spurs should take advantage and submit an offer that Brentford cannot refuse.
There is every chance that Newcastle could still move for the DR Congo international, given that Alexander Isak is edging towards a Liverpool move.
However, Frank needs a forward and can use his relationship with the forward to strike a deal.

Jean Philippe-Mateta would be signing of the summer
While such a deal would be tricky to pull off, a move for Crystal Palace hitman Mateta would be a headline transfer.
The Frenchman has been in prolific form over the years for the South London club and bagged his first Premier League goal of the season against Aston Villa.
However, at 28 years of age, he could be eyeing a big-money move where he can make an impact in the prime of his career.
- Mateta has 49 goals in 159 appearances for Crystal Palace
- Last season, he bagged 14 Premier League goals
- His best Premier League tally was the 16 he scored in the 2023/24 campaign
Tottenham should be able to submit a sizeable offer to the Selhurst Park club, and if they did, then the Eagles may not be able to turn it down.
Indeed, with Mateta within their ranks, the North London club would be well placed to seal yet another trophy.
