‘Son Heung-min edges closer to Tottenham exit as Daniel Levy makes surprise move’
Son Heung-min’s future looks set to be one of the major transfer stories of Tottenham’s summer.
The South Korean lifted the Europa League trophy at the end of the campaign, but it now looks as though that could be the final action of his decade-long spell with Spurs.
Son is understood to have a 50/50 chance of leaving North London in the next few weeks, with Tottenham News previously reporting that he has already held talks with Turkish giants Fenerbahce over a potential switch across Europe.
Daniel Levy looks set to face a summer of big decisions ahead of him, and his latest move has forced the club captain closer to the exit in N17.

Levy’s Kudus approach edges Son closer to the exit
A final decision regarding Son’s future has likely been delayed a few weeks as a result of Tottenham’s end-of-season tour to South Korea.
The attacker’s astronomical level of fame in his homeland will have been a major reason behind Spurs’ decision to jet out to the east, and as a result, it makes little sense for the club to move him on before that tour is completed.
However, Levy has now made a shock approach to West Ham over a potential deal for their star Mohammed Kudus, according to reports from The West Ham Way (19 June).
Levy is understood to be targeting a deal in the region of £50million for Kudus, who has been identified by the Hammers as somebody who could be sold in order to ease the club’s PSR concerns.
If the Ghanaian international were to move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, he would surely want a guarantee of regular playing time, which would likely push him up ahead of Son in the pecking order.
Kudus has played a variety of positions across the attack for West Ham, and that versatility will make him a hugely attractive proposition to Thomas Frank.
Another addition to Spurs’ attacking ranks will surely force Son further towards the exit, especially considering that Levy’s next pursuit seems set to be over a man who can provide a similar versatility to the 32-year-old.

Tottenham should let Son go this summer
As difficult as it will be for Spurs to say goodbye to a man who has given them so much across 10 years of service for the club, it could be the right time for Levy and Co. to move in a different direction.

The forward has been outstanding during his time with the Lilywhites, but his influence waned last season as injuries and age began to set in.
With Son having now lifted the trophy that he has worked so hard to win throughout his time with the club, it feels like a nice way of tieing off his time at Tottenham.
Frank’s appointment will bring about a new era at the club, and the Dane should have as clean a slate as possible with which to work on, including the possibility of being able to select his own captain.
