Richarlison’s days are numbered at Tottenham as Premier League rivals eye shock £25m transfer
Richarlison could be set to leave Tottenham in the January transfer window despite his recent revival.
The Brazil international has struggled to find consistency since his move from Everton back in 2022, but it has been a totally different story for him so far this season.
Richarlison has made a bright start for Tottenham in 2025-26, as he has taken full advantage of the injuries to Dominic Solanke and Randal Kolo Muani in recent weeks.
The frontman is already just goal shy of his Premier League tally from last season, but his recent form under Thomas Frank may not be enough to save his career in N17.

Crystal Palace are interested in Richarlison
Tottenham were open to selling Richarlison over the summer, as a move back to his homeland with Palmeiras was seriously mooted a one stage.
However, the Brazilian giants struggled to meet the Lilywhites’ demands for the 28-year-old, and as a result, a deal never really came close to materialising.
It looks as if it could be a different story this time around, with Crystal Palace understood to be showing an interest in Richarlison ahead of the January window, according to Bolavip.
His former club Fluminense are also keen, but surprise interest from elsewhere in the Premier League will surely have caught Spurs’ attention.
If the Lilywhites are still unsure over their desire to keep Richarlison in the long term, then news of the Eagles’ interest could be a game-changer for their stance.

Tottenham are understood to value Richarlison in the region of £20-£25million, and their fellow Premier League outfit would surely have no issues in meeting those demands.
If the idea of a sale is still somewhat attractive to Spurs, then the prospect of a convenient deal with their London neighbours could prove to be too good to turn down, meaning Richarlison’s days in N17 may well be numbered.
Tottenham must avoid Richarlison recency bias
Richarlison could be in line for a new Spurs contract, provided that he can remain fit for the majority of the season.
- Richarlison has never started more than 18 league games for Spurs in a season
- He has broken into double figures just once – he managed it in three seasons at Everton
- He has netted just 19 league goals since joining Spurs in 2022
However, Tottenham must ensure that they don’t place too much of an overreliance on the striker’s current form when it comes to settling his future.
It must be remembered that the former Everton hero has broken into double figures in a single season just once in his three full campaigns since his move to N17.
Ultimately, Richarlison is not a good enough option to be able to take the Lilywhites to the level where they are winning trophies, and they know that deep down, considering their potential willingness to sell him in the summer.
With that in mind, they would surely be best served by doing business with Crystal Palace in January and ensuring they can secure a reasonable fee for him when the chance arises.
