Richarlison exit: Tottenham sale could be back on after rejected move

Tottenham could yet again look to sell Richarlison in the January transfer window.

The Brazil international hasn’t been at his best since his move to the North Londoners in the summer of 2022 from Everton.

Spurs fans saw the 27-year-old as a successor to Harry Kane after his departure to Bayern Munich, but the former Fluminense star has failed to live up to the expectations.

Richarlison has been a frustrating figure at the Lilywhites due to his constant fitness issues, and the future seems to be uncertain.

Ange Postecoglou has been unable to rely on the Brazilian, who has made just seven appearances in all competitions this season.

Tottenham to sell Richarlison to raise funds for January transfers

Dominic Solanke has led the line for the North London outfit in the current campaign after his big-money move from Bournemouth.

While the striking department is covered, Spurs have had to deal with several injuries in defence, and reinforcements in January are seemingly necessary.

Tottenham would consider parting ways with Richarlison for a decent fee in the winter window, according to the Daily Mail (29 December).

The news outlet has reported that it could be difficult for the Lilywhites to get an offer after the centre-forward has been sidelined for most of the season.

In the summer of 2024, the 27-year-old rejected a move to Saudi Arabia, but he could soon be on the chopping block once again.

When Ricaharlison returns to action, it will evidently be difficult for him to pip Solanke in the pecking order, making a transfer away in the coming month the ideal scenario for both parties.
