Ange Postecoglou’s side are desperate for attacking reinforcements as Dominic Solanke is ruled out for the foreseeable future and Richarlison has been hampered by injury issues.
An attacker with top-flight experience that is a handful for defences and knows where the net is should be a no-brainer for the Lilywhites, especially given the injuries that they currently have.
While he is 28 years old, he could add some much-needed experience to a youthful Spurs squad that has struggled this season and find themselves 15th in the Premier League.
Postecoglou needs a lifeline to try and save his job at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Wissa may be a perfect option.
