Mikey Moore ‘to be used as leverage’ in Tottenham deal to sign Tyler Dibling

Mikey Moore could be on his way out of Tottenham this summer, and Spurs may be able to use that in their advantage.

Tottenham, after their triumph over Frankfurt on Thursday night, will have their focus on the Europa League given that it is their only remaining shot at a trophy, and the only chance they have left of securing European football for next season.

However, once their fate in the competition is decided, Tottenham will have several decisions to make and plans to put in place ahead of the summer transfer window.

Not only will the future of Ange Postecoglou become clear, but Spurs will have a lot of work to do on the recruitment front, and the signing of Dibling may be achievable.

Dibling likely to be on the move from Southampton this summer

Links connecting Tottenham with a move for Dibling have remained strong over the last few weeks and even months, and it’s highly likely that they will continue into the summer.

With Southampton’s relegation officially confirmed, ironically after the defeat to Tottenham, it seems inevitable that Dibling will be moving on.

He isnt the only young English forward linked with a move this summer, with Mikey Moore also mooted for a loan exit from Tottenham, and that may give Spurs the upper hand in the race to sign the Saints star.

Moore could do with a Championship loan, and there will undoubtedly be suitors, but Spurs could look to offer him to Southampton as part of a deal to sign Dibling.

It would be a deal that suits all parties, and could be one to keep an eye on as we approach the summer transfer window.

Tottenham must focus on Europa League success

While recruitment plans will already be somewhat in place, they could change if Spurs aren’t able to offer European football next season, showcasing the importance of winning the Europa League.

With a clash against Bodo up next in the competition, Spurs have an excellent chance of progressing through to the final, where they could end up facing either Bilbao or Man United.
