Liverpool to reluctantly sanction Harvey Elliott sale in perfect Tottenham boost after Eberechi Eze news

The 22-year-old has already had a fantastic summer and won the Under 21s European Championship with England.

Now, with just days left of the transfer window, Liverpool will reluctantly sanction an Elliott sale, according to Ben Jacobs via X on 21 August.
This is a perfect boost for Spurs in a time of crisis in the transfer market. Elliott is already a top player with bundles of potential.
While RB Leipzig are also pushing for a deal, Tottenham would surely beat them to his signature, given their Champions League spot.
With so little time left in the transfer window, Elliott now has to be a priority for Frank as the Englishman would be a solid compromise after the humiliating Eze blunder.
Can Harvey Elliott match James Maddison’s output?
The question for any incoming attacking midfielder is whether they will be able to replace Maddison in the squad.
While Eze would have done this with ease, Elliott may struggle to hit these goal contributions.
While the 22-year-old’s stats overall aren’t great, per 90 minutes, he stands out according to Fbref on 21 August.
