Levy to blame as West Ham set to derail Tottenham transfer plans in one swoop
Daniel Levy is set to enter the spotlight yet again at Tottenham after the latest transfer news.
Four days have passed since the summer transfer window opened, and Tottenham are still sitting with their hands tied behind their back.
With Champions League football to attend to, Spurs have no time to waste, though it seems as though they aren’t in any rush to get a head start.
As for the reason behind that? Levy is to blame, and he is wasting valuable time by being entirely indecisive.

West Ham ready move for Bournemouth star in Tottenham blow
Tottenham need to recruit well this summer, but with the future of Ange Postecoglou still uncertain, those plans are nearly impossible to execute.
Players simply won’t commit to a move to North London as long as they don’t know who will be in charge, and West Ham are looking to take advantage of that.
Via Give Me Sport (4 June), the Irons are readying a move for Marcus Tavernier, which would, in turn, make it unlikely that Bournemouth would sanction a move for Antoine Semenyo, who has been linked with a move to Tottenham.
Bournemouth | Games | Goals | Assists |
Semenyo | 37 | 11 | 5 |
This is just the first instance of Levy’s reluctance having an impact, and the longer this saga goes on, the more targets Spurs will lose out on.
Spurs simply need to utilise the summer transfer window after such a poor domestic campaign last time out, and Levy is severely restricting their ability to do so.

Tottenham need to get a move on
Levy is said to have made a decision on the future of Postecoglou, and yet the outcome of that remains unknown in North London.
Whether he is staying or going, it needs to be communicated soon, otherwise, Spurs are going to run out of time to seal the necessary additions to their squad.
There feels like there is no way back for Postecoglou at Spurs, but as to why Levy hasnt realised that begs belief.
