How much Eberechi Eze transfer could cost Tottenham, likely salary after new approach
Tottenham are keen to further bolster their attack this summer, with Eberechi Eze the latest forward to be linked with a move.
Eze rose the ranks across London with Crystal Palace after joining the Eagles from Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
The 27-year-old was a crucial player for Oliver Glasner’s side last season, winning the FA Cup. As a result, the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal have taken notice, with Spurs ready to swoop.

Eze to cost Tottenham at least £70million
Thomas Frank has been keen to further add to his attack, having already signed Mohammed Kudus for £55million this summer.
The Lilywhites have also enquired about Manchester City duo Jack Grealish and Savinho, though Grealish now looks to be on his way to Everton.
Son Heung-Min’s exit has now been officially confirmed. Therefore, Tottenham have made contact with Eze over a potential move, according to transfer expert Paul O Keefe on X (12 August).
The forward had a £68million release clause, which has since expired, so once you factor in his potential wages on top of that, the sum would be eye-watering for Spurs supporters.
According to Capology, Eze is on £100,000 a week in South London, which equates to £5.2million per season.
Player | Weeekly wage |
Son Heung-min | £192,000 |
James Maddison | £172,000 |
Joao Palhinha | £166,000 |
The England international currently has two years remaining on his deal, so it could be the last summer that Palace have a chance to get a substantial fee for him.
As with most players recently, Eze is expected to sign a long five-year contract should he end up in North London, and his wages look set to increase.
Once his wages and transfer fee are factored in, Eze could cost upwards of £80m across a potential half a decade stay – and that’s if he doesn’t get a pay increase, which seems unlikely.
Tottenham have an opportunity to embarrass Arsenal
Eze has also been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer.
Daniel Levy now has an opportunity to lay down the marker and embarrass the Gunners by hijacking a move for Eze.
Frank is clearly keen to add more firepower up top this summer, and Eze has the potential to become the main man for Spurs.
The 27-year-old would go up in every Spurs supporter’s estimations should he join, and he can really make a name for himself at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
