Frank ‘has perfect first Tottenham signing’ after Man United player admission
Thomas Frank has finally been confirmed as the new Tottenham and could have the ideal first transfer waiting for him in North London.
The Dane will be responsible for creating a Spurs side capable of competing on multiple fronts next season.
And he may have his ideal first signing waiting by the phone for his call.

Eriksen comments lead to speculation of Tottenham return
Christian Eriksen has shared strong words of praise for the former Brentford boss, while he was away on international duty for Denmark.
In an interview with Danish outlet Ekstra Bladet (12 June), the former Spurs midfielder said that Frank was the right man to improve the Tottenham squad and lead them up the Premier League.
Frank took a chance on Eriksen at Brentford after the midfielder had been sidelined with heart problems. It had been thought that Eriksen might never play again after he collapsed on the pitch representing Denmark in the middle of a Euro 2020 match.
Both player and manager are Danish, and Eriksen is available on a free transfer as his contract at Manchester United is about to expire.
So, naturally, there are a lot of pieces in place for Eriksen to seal a move back to Tottenham.
When asked about this, he said: “No, not where we are now, so Thomas should call if something happens.”

Eriksen could be a useful squad player as Tottenham prepare to compete on several fronts
Eriksen’s words could be taken as a ‘come and get me’ plea for Thomas Frank.
The midfielder is soon to be out of contract, and no clubs of note have been linked with the experienced midfielder.

Eriksen isn’t the same player who helped lead Tottenham to a Champions League final in 2019.
However, he does have experience playing at the highest level, and Frank knows how to get the best out of him.
He could therefore be a useful squad player as Tottenham prepare to try and compete in the Premier League and Europe.
Their lack of squad depth was brutally exposed this season, and it won’t cost a penny to bring him back to North London.
All things considered, this might be a smart deal to kick off Tottenham’s spree in this summer’s transfer market. Frank should make it happen before another club swoops in.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are preparing to add Justin Cochrane to their coaching staff. Cochrane was Frank’s assistant at Brentford.
