Destiny Udogie ‘to demand Tottenham exit’ amid Premier League transfer news
Destiny Udogie has had a disappointing second season at Tottenham and could now demand an exit from the club after recent transfer news.
After an underwhelming campaign which looks likely to see Spurs finish in the bottom half of the Premier League, there could be plenty of changes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.
Ange Postecoglou is facing the sack from Daniel Levy, while a host of players could also be moved on.
Richarlison is expected to leave Tottenham in a cut-price deal, with Levy potentially set to stomach a big loss on the Brazillian.
Meanwhile, Cristian Romero could seal a transfer to Atletico Madrid, and the World Cup winner might not be the only defender on the move at the end of the season, with Udogie potentially set to demand a transfer exit.

Udogie to demand exit as Tottenham set sights on left-back
Following a largely impressive debut season in the Premier League, Spurs supporters would have been keen to see Udogie kick on. However, the Italian has instead struggled, recently blasted for his performance in the 1-0 Premier League defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Thursday (3 April).
His poor form, as well as the rise of Djed Spence, means the left-back is no longer one of the first names on the teamsheet in North London.
Therefore, he was already bound to be feeling slightly unhappy. However, after a recent transfer update, there is a chance he might be ready to move on from Tottenham altogether.

As reported by TBR Football (6 April), Tottenham and Liverpool both want to sign Wolves’ Rayan Aït-Nouri.
And if the left-back does end up moving to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, that could see Udogie fall further down the pecking order.

Tottenham must decide what to do with Udogie
Spurs have Spence, Udogie and Pedro Porro on the books. Therefore, adding a left-back to the squad doesn’t seem like a priority this summer.
Should one of those players move on, it would make sense to try and sign Aït-Nouri, who has had a brilliant season on a personal level. However, for now, Spurs should focus on other targets.
