‘Tottenham to sign outstanding £45m+ sensation after Mohammed Kudus’

Daniel Levy looks to finally be making good on his promise to back Thomas Frank at Tottenham.

Levy has faced his fair share of criticism in years gone by from Tottenham fans for failing to adequately support his managers.

A quiet start to the transfer window reignited familiar nerves among the supporters, but they would have been encouraged by Levy’s willingness to back Frank with his coaching staff.

Things are suddenly looking brighter on the player side, too, as Kōta Takai joined Spurs earlier this week, while Mohammed Kudus is set to become the Lilywhites’ first marquee signing of the summer.

Tottenham keen on Southampton’s Tyler Dibling

Levy is learning from his past mistakes and is seemingly more willing to sign players with Premier League experience this summer.

Tottenham had the second-youngest squad in the league last season, and are crying out for more senior figures, especially with captain Son Heung-min’s future still in the balance.

However, the allure of signing an exciting player for the future remains strong, and Spurs are particularly keen on signing Tyler Dibling from Southampton, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg (8 July).

The England Under-21 international is very highly rated and is set to become a top player after starring for the Saints last season, despite their struggles.

Spurs are facing plenty of competition from fellow Premier League sides West Ham, Manchester United, and Nottingham Forest, who are also interested in the gifted winger who Tim Steidten described as an “outstanding” player.

The Saints value Dibling at over £45million, and have yet to receive any formal offers for the 19-year-old.

Levy has the opportunity to sign the outstanding talent and solidify Frank’s options out wide after finalising the Kudus deal.

Dibling a has bright future ahead

Dibling’s performances were particularly notable for his fearless dribbling and progressive, front-footed approach despite his relative inexperience in senior football.

The winger had only played two minutes in the Championship as Southampton got promoted, but quickly became an integral part of the side in the Premier League.

While his skills are far from refined, there is an element of Gareth Bale about his attacking talents that would hugely excite Tottenham fans if Levy could get the deal through.
