Daniel Levy ‘signs off on final Tottenham manager appointment’ as exit hints start
Daniel Levy continues to face huge pressure at Tottenham.
Despite lifting the Europa League, the sacking of Ange Postecoglou was finally confirmed on 6 June after weeks of disrespectful silence at Hotspur Way.
To make matters worse, Levy decided against making an official statement when it was confirmed.
With the appointment of Thomas Frank from Brentford likely to be confirmed within hours, sweeping changes are being made at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
ENIC are at the heart of those, with more groundbreaking exits likely.

Tottenham boardroom black hole
Surrounding the departure of Postecoglou, several boardroom figures were also moved on.
Donna Cullen, described as Levy’s right-hand woman, stepped down from her role as executive director, with Scott Munn sacked hours after the Australian was shown the back door.
It has all been described as the biggest shake-up at ENIC and Tottenham in almost 20 years, with possible new investment to follow.
Describing Tottenham’s ownership is complex enough, with ENIC holding just above 86 per cent of shares, the rest with external shareholders.
Tottenham ownership | Shareholding |
ENIC Sports | 86.6% |
External shareholders | 13.4% |
With Levy owning just below 30 per cent of ENIC, and Joe Lewis’ family trust taking the rest, this shake-up could see him moved along eventually, in the biggest casualty of them all.

Tottenham takeover next
Levy and Tottenham have never shied away from takeover talks, with Qatari links the latest.
It would take up to £3billion to get a deal over the line for full ownership, so if ENIC decide to leave Levy where he is regarding Tottenham, it would take a complete change to move him along.
However, with ENIC director Peter Charrington being installed as a non-executive director of the club, there are subtle hints that change is coming.
While all of this is happening, it appears as though Thomas Frank will take over from Postecoglou.
An agreement is in place over the £10million compensation, contracts and staff for the Dane to move across London, with Levy likely signing off.
With things quietly moving along in the background, this could be the final manager that gets the Levy seal of approval before massive change again at Hotspur Way.
