‘Daniel Levy decimates Brentford’ as new Frank agreement fully sealed at Tottenham

Tottenham owner Daniel Levy is set to decimate Brentford amid the latest news on Thomas Frank’s future.

Ange Postecoglou was sacked on 6 June despite winning the Europa League trophy to end a 17-year drought for the North London club.

Levy has acted fast to secure the Australians’ replacement amid a huge amount of work that needs to be done in the transfer market after a dismal campaign last time out in the Premier League.

Tottenham set to seal Frank agreement

Frank is the leading contender for the role at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after an impressive spell with Brentford.

Fabrizio Romano (10 June) has reported that a full agreement has been reached for Frank to become the new Spurs manager, sharing the famous “here we go”.

The journalist states that for a fee of £10million, the Bees will release the Danish manager, who also has an agreement for his staff.

Frank agreement will decimate Brentford

The agreement that Levy has reached will decimate the West London outfit as Frank’s staff were so important to the club.

The likes of Bryan Mbuemo, Yoane Wissa and Nathan Collins have thrived at the G-Tech Community Stadium under the 51-year-old and his coaching team.

His backroom team includes the likes of first-team assistant coaches Justin Cochrane, Claus Norgaard, goalkeeping coach Manu Sotelo, set-piece coach Keith Andrews and head of athletic performance Chris Haslam.

It is unclear how many of those will make the move to the Lilywhites with their boss at the moment, but losing any of them would be a huge blow for the TW8 outfit given their impact under the new Spurs boss.

The Bees finished 10th in the top flight, despite operating with an extremely modest budget, which suggests that Frank and his team can have a major impact in N17, with a higher budget to spend on transfers than they had previously.

If he can poach the majority of his staff from his former club, it would be a huge boost for what promises to be a tough task in replacing Postecoglou after his cup success, but a major hit for the Bees, who will have to replace them.
