Daniel Levy can turn Tottenham disaster into triumph as perfect Eberechi Eze alternative now lined up
Tottenham are searching for alternatives after losing out on Eberechi Eze to Arsenal, and they may have stumbled across the perfect option.
Eze was targeted after injuries to James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski left Tottenham without any attacking midfielders in the squad.
Arsenal beat Tottenham to Eze’s signature with a late hijack, and Daniel Levy has been criticised for losing out on yet another deal.
It has been a disastrous few days for Levy and Tottenham, but he can now win back a little bit of credit if he manages to sign an alternative who may be available in the final few days of the window.

Nico Paz would be perfect Eberechi Eze alternative
Tottenham have been linked with Como midfielder Nico Paz, who joined last year from Real Madrid and has a bright future ahead of him.
- Paz joined Como last year from Real Madrid on a permanent deal, and Los Blancos have a buyback clause.
- The attacking midfielder scored six times and provided eight assists in 30 Serie A starts under former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.
Paz could be the perfect Eze alternative, as FBRef lists him as the most similar player to the Arsenal-bound attacking midfielder in European football.
It is easy to see why. Like Eze, Paz possesses a strong goal threat and dribbling ability, and the Argentina international actually ranks significantly above the Englishman in several aspects.
While both have similar levels of output and goal threat, Paz ranks well above Eze for his defensive contributions, as well as the volume and direction of his passing, as one of the best ball progressors in his position.

Nico Paz is a potentially world-class talent
If he is attainable in this window, Paz would be a less proven, but perhaps a more complete and younger option than Eze.
Paz has already impressed Lionel Messi after providing him with an assist during an Argentina victory, and the midfielder was very highly rated at Real Madrid.
It remains to be seen if a deal is possible, but he could potentially cost less than Eze if Paz is willing to join, and Fabregas is willing to sell him to Tottenham, given club allegiances.
