Will Lankshear shares three-word message as Tottenham loan star benched yet again
Tottenham teenager Will Lankshear had to settle for a place on West Brom’s bench again on Saturday.
The 19-year-old is on loan at The Hawthorns this season in a bid to gain more regular game time to progress his career, having joined the Midlands club in January.
Since then, he’s gone on to play eight times in the Championship, but he has only picked up 163 minutes of football during that time.
The striker has been limited with the opportunities provided to him by Tony Mowbray, and that included the important game against Sunderland.

Will Lankshear is looking forward to the future
West Brom were defeated 1-0 by Sunderland, with a goal from Trai Hume being the difference maker on the day.
It was a crucial game between two teams pushing for promotion to the Premier League, with both hoping to finish in the playoff positions, which is what made it such a shocking defeat.
West Brom struggled in front of goal against Sunderland, with Adam Armstrong and Karlan Grant failing to cause many issues at the back for their opponents.
The Baggies only had three shots on target throughout the entire game, which is one of the reasons why Mowbray called Lankshear into action, but he was only given 11 minutes to prove himself.

The teenager failed to find the back of the net in his cameo appearance, but he’s already looking ahead to the next fixture.
Lankshear took to Instagram to say, “We go again,” as he is already looking ahead to the next game, which will be against another playoff hopeful, Bristol City, on Tuesday (8 April).

Will Lankshear’s loan move hasn’t worked out
Lankshear and Tottenham will likely be hoping to see him feature in the upcoming game in midweek as this loan spell hasn’t quite worked out to date.
Armstrong has ended up being the preferred option for Mowbray upfront, with the Baggies boss focusing on experience over youth.
Mowbray has admitted he chooses Armstrong for his experience as a proven goal scorer, while he has said that Lankshear “has to get to that level.”
More worryingly for Spurs fans is the fact that Mowbray admitted that if he thought Lankshear was the answer, he’d have played him more, which is a concern, but he has had a lack of time to prove himself.
