View: Should Tottenham star Harry Kane leave the Premier League?
Tottenham will have many talking points this summer, however, the biggest of them all will certainly be the future of Harry Kane and whether or not it lies in the Premier League.
It was not a good season for Tottenham. It was an incredible one for Harry Kane. 30 Premier League goals, the first player to hit that number twice. He became the club’s record scorer and the second all-time Premier League top goalscorer.
He scored in 26 different Premier League matches, a record for one season. On top of all those records, he also became England’s all-time top goalscorer.

Now the question is where does his future lie with just one year left on the deal with his boyhood club? Well, as reported by the Evening Standard (3 June), Real Madrid have made the England captain their top transfer target this summer.
Carlo Ancelotti has identified Kane as his preferred striker and has said, “Harry Kane is a top player but we have to respect Tottenham, he is a Tottenham player.”
The decision to pursue Kane does not depend on Karim Benzema’s future with Madrid reportedly interested in Kane and the French striker playing together next season.

Kane’s decision
It is unclear at this point in time whether or not Kane would entertain a move away from the Premier League. Just 48 goals separate Kane and the title of all-time top Premier League goalscorer with the striker still yet to turn 30.
Would Tottenham’s captain be willing to give up that pursuit and life in England for a chance to play at the Bernabeu?
It is hard to picture the 29-year-old in any shirt but an English or Spurs one.
However, if Kane is to leave Spurs, we are sure all of us fans would prefer it was for sunny Spain rather than elsewhere in the country, and whether or not the striker’s love for Spurs influences his decision is yet to be seen.
What is certain, wherever he goes, or if he stays with Tottenham, Kane will continue to score goals.
