Tottenham v Crystal Palace prediction made by supercomputer

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday, with Opta’s supercomputer predicting the result.

Ange Postecoglou’s team will face Oliver Glasner’s high-flying Eagles on 11 May, who have reached the FA Cup final this season.

Spurs are coming off their 2-0 win against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League on Thursday (8 May), qualifying for the competition’s final in Bilbao.

The North London outfit’s record in the English top flight has been abysmal this season, and it doesn’t look like things will get any better against the South London club.

Palace predicted to draw at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Palace have been predicted to draw against Spurs away from home in the Premier League, according to Opta.

The supercomputer has given the North London outfit a 36 per cent chance of winning, while the Eagles’ odds of getting the three points stand at 38 per cent.

As a result, a draw between the Lilywhites and Glasner’s team is the most likely outcome, which won’t please the home support.

With 35 games played in the Premier League, Postecoglou’s team are 16th in the table, having won just 11 fixtures.

Postecoglou future set in stone at Spurs

Postecoglou’s future at Spurs may be set in stone after their underwhelming performances this season, with the Australian manager’s sacking on the cards.

Daniel Levy could give Fabio Paratici the go-ahead to look for a new head coach once he returns to the North London outfit after serving his ban from football.

While the Lilywhites are in the Europa League final, winning the competition now may not be enough for the former Celtic boss to survive.

Tottenham will face Manchester United in in Bilbao, with both teams enduring a difficult period in the Premier League.

The European trophy may be there for the taking as Postecoglou has the chance to fulfil his promise of winning a title.

Earlier in the campaign, the Australian manager hinted at winning silverware in his second season, which would end the 17-year trophy drought in N17.

The 59-year-old head coach’s future may be set in stone, though, with results in the Premier League below par.

Spurs have Aston Villa after the Palace fixture, and then travel to Bilbao for the Europa League final on 21 May.
