Tottenham trophy winner slams Spurs fans over major disrespect shown
Tottenham fans are suffering from mixed emotions in North London this summer.
Spurs are in a very strange period right now, having just won the Europa League, and subsequently their first major trophy in 17 years, but also spent the majority of the Premier League campaign anchored towards the bottom of the table.
A 17th-placed finish ensued for Tottenham, the lowest in their history in the Premier League, leaving fans stuck between a rock and a hard place when deciding how to actually feel about the situation their club is in at the moment.
However, a former Spurs trophy winner disagrees with the sentiments shared by a section of the Lilywhites support heading into the summer.

Ramon Vega hits back at Postecoglou sack claims
Six days into the transfer window, there still hasnt been any communication on the future of Ange Postecoglou, though the expectation is that he will be sacked.
If that day comes, a section of the support will be relieved, while others will be questioning why a manager who has won their first trophy in nearly two decades has been sacked, with Ramon Vega hitting back at the claims made by the former.
The 1998/99 League Cup winner, via talkSPORT (6 June), said: “This is just for me, absolutely major disrespect towards the manager, towards the players.
Matches | Wins | Draws | Losses |

“If you can see what these guys went through only this season with the injuries, and I’m telling you now, that these players are playing for this coach. You can see that.”
Daniel Levy is believed to have made a decision on the future of the Australian, though the outcome of that decision is still not known.
Postecoglou has run his race at Tottenham
Harsh or not, Postecoglou will almost certainly leave Tottenham.
To finish 17th in the Premier League, regardless of the success they found via the Europa League, is unacceptable, especially given the squad he has had access to.
Injuries will be used as the excuse, but results arguably got worse when players started to return to fitness, showcasing that it was never the main issue.
As to where Tottenham turn to next, Thomas Frank has held talks, and he would be one of several solid replacements for Postecoglou.
