Tottenham transfer news: Nottingham Forest ace Morgan Gibbs-White update emerges

Tottenham have their sights on signing Nottingham Forets attacking midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White this summer, according to Sebastien Vidal.

The Weekend Sports magazine editor reported that Spurs view the 24-year-old as a promising acquisition as they look to strengthen their squad in the summer.

Ange Postecoglou has enjoyed a good first season and could guide the North London side back into the Premier League.

Via Twitter, Vidal wrote: “Tottenham have their sights set on young English midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White. The Spurs are looking to strengthen their squad this summer, and Gibbs-White could be a promising signing. To follow closely!”

Tottenham should seal the Gibbs-White transfer

Gibbs-White’s versatility and impressive stats make him a promising addition to the Spurs squad.

With three league goals and five assists this season, he has demonstrated his effectiveness in attack.

His ability to play across various positions – on the left wing, right wing, as a number 10 and even as a central striker – provides valuable flexibility for Spurs’ tactical approach.

This versatility not only offers depth to the squad but also allows for tactical adjustments during matches.

Additionally, Gibbs-White’s skill set complements Tottenham’s style of play, with his creativity, dribbling ability and eye for goal enhancing their attacking options.

Ange Postecoglou has already proven to be able to get the best out of attacking players as has been the case with Richarlison so there’s every reason to believe he can with Gibbs-White as well.
