Tottenham told to sack Johan Lange now amid transfer reports from Italy

Tottenham supporters have called for Johan Lange to be sacked amid news that has emerged from Italy.

Daniel Levy enjoyed a successful end to the winter transfer window by all accounts – he followed up the Deadline Day signing of Kevin Danso with the signing of Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel, who completed a dramatic last-gap U-turn to sign for Tottenham after previously rejecting their advances.

However, the Spurs faithful were still not overly satisfied with the transfer activity in North London and took to social media to voice their displeasure after a fresh rumour emerged.

Tottenham supporters furious with Johan Lange

Although Tel arrived to bolster Ange Postecoglou’s forward ranks, the boss remains eager to add more firepower to his squad.

According to Tuttosport (9 February), Tottenham will rival Arsenal for a transfer target again, with the North London sides prepared to bring ex-Everton forward Moise Kean back to the Premier League.

The 24-year-old hardly set the world alight during his last stint in England, and the reported £43million asking price has left the Spurs faithful fuming on social media.

One supporter believes Lange “should be sacked” if he pursues another big-money forward, whereas another pleaded with his fellow supporters to pile pressure on “the fraud”.

While one fan believes the possible move is a ploy, writing: “It’s all generated by Levy to sell some season tickets for next season,” one thing is abundantly clear – the supporters are not happy one bit.

Johan Lange needs to hatch a sure-fire Tottenham transfer plan

Although Tottenham need improvement in every area of the pitch right now, this will not be the case at the end of the season.

The Lilywhites have endured a well-documented injury crisis for most of the campaign, and there is a very real possibility that Postecoglou will not remain at the helm.

Paul Robinson told Tottenham News on 7 February that Levy would wait until after the FA Cup clash before speaking to the boss regarding his long-term future in North London.

However, Spurs have crashed out of both domestic cup competitions in the space of a week. They lost 2-1 against Aston Villa on Sunday (9 February) and suffered a 4-0 hammering against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg three days earlier.

Once all injured players return, there is a solid foundation to build a side capable of competing in the top end of the Premier League.

Unfortunately for Postecoglou, he may not stick around long enough to reap the rewards of what he has built across his one-and-a-half-year spell.

But with signings such as Kean mooted for the summer, the future doesn’t look any brighter for the Tottenham faithful.
