Tottenham supporters will love Dejan Kulusevski injury reveal after recent surgery
Tottenham supporters will welcome a recent reveal about Dejan Kulusevski after the Swede underwent surgery.
Kulusevski missed the chance to play in Spurs’ 1-0 victory against Manchester United in the Europa League final at the Estadio de San Mamés on Wednesday (21 May).
The 25-year-old recently underwent surgery after picking up an injury in the 2-0 Premier League defeat to Crystal Palace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (11 May) that forced him off after 19 minutes.
Tottenham supporters were at a loss on how Ange Postecoglou would replace him for the final, but a midfield trio of Rodrigo Bentancur, Pape Marar Sarr and Yves Bissouma proved to be enough.
And as the high of their Europa League final win slowly begins to fade, Spurs supporters will welcome the latest Kulusevski injury reveal.

Kulusevski fought to be present at the final despite injury setbacks
Tottenham were victorious against the Red Devils because all of the players and coaching staff came together as one in Bilbao.
Guglielmo Vicario produced heroics against Alejandro Garnacho and Luke Shaw, Micky van de Ven made an astonishing goal-line clearance, while Spurs’ midfield three fought for every ball, and Brennan Johnson scored the winner.
However, despite being unable to feature, Kulusevski was still keen to make his presence felt.

As reported by Alasdair Gold via Football London (22 May), the attacking midfielder made sure he was present for the Europa League final, despite difficulties with travel.
“Kulusevski, who had undergone his knee surgery in Barcelona, made his way by land to be there for the team because he was not able to fly,” Gold wrote.
“He wouldn’t miss it for the world. That’s because this team has become a family. They have grown closer through adversity and also understanding what lies within each other in the toughest moments.”

Postecoglou got tactics spot on v Manchester United
For weeks, whether Spurs would be able to overcome the loss of Kulusevski against United was fiercely debated, with most doubting Postecoglou’s ability to adapt.
However, the Australian manager had a plan. A midfield trio of Bentancur, Sarr and Bissouma suffocated Man United’s midfield, forcing them out wide to attack Tottenham’s goal.
Meanwhile, the transition to a back five was timed to perfection, providing the perfect antidote to United’s last-minute advances.
It may not have been beautiful, but it was effective, and Ruben Amorim was unable to offer a solution.
