Tottenham accelerate for Tyler Dibling transfer agreement at Southampton
Tottenham already have one eye on the summer transfer window amid their current struggles in the Premier League.
Spurs currently sit 14th in the top flight after Sunday’s disappointing 2-0 defeat to Fulham, which has invited yet more pressure on boss Ange Postecoglou.
The North London outfit also faced an early FA Cup exit when they were beaten by Aston Villa last month, while they were also hammered 4-1 by Liverpool in their Carabao Cup semi-final.
Tottenham’s hopes of enjoying success this season rest in the Europa League after they progressed to the quarter-finals with a 3-1 win over AZ Alkmaar last week.

Spurs set to step up their interest in Southampton star
Tottenham supporters will be hoping to see their side enjoy a strong summer transfer window, having witnessed a largely woeful domestic campaign.

The Spurs faithful could see those wishes come true, as Tottenham have accelerated their interest in Southampton star Tyler Dibling, according to Give Me Sport.
It is reported that the North London club may have to pay over £50million to beat Manchester United to the 19-year-old’s signature.
Dibling has been a shining light for a Saints side who have been dreadful in the Premier League this season, and have won just two games in 29 attempts.

Dibling could be a top signing for Tottenham
The Saints youngster has had a fantastic football education, having developed his game in both the Southampton and Chelsea academies.
The Hampshire club’s youth ranks have birthed some great footballing talent over the years, such as Gareth Bale, Luke Shaw and ex-Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Dibling could be the next notable star to depart St Mary’s in favour of a move to a higher-profile Premier League club, and Tottenham could go on to reap the benefits of his signature.
The teenager should not be judged by the fact that he has notched just two goals in 25 top-flight outings this term, as he is plying his trade for a Southampton side who offer him little quality in terms of service.
But he can hold his head high as one of the only constant threats in an otherwise poor Southampton team, and he proved his eye for goal when he bagged a brace in a 3-0 win over Swansea back in January.
Could this be a Bale-esque signing? Only time will tell.
