Tottenham set for Harry Kane reunion after brand-new announcement on Friday
Tottenham are set to reunite with Harry Kane almost two years after his move to Bayern Munich.
Kane has enjoyed a successful stay with Bayern since departing from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
As well as being the German club’s top scorer for two consecutive seasons, the 31-year-old finally ended his search for a first major honour by lifting the Bundesliga title this season after missing out on the trophy to Bayer Leverkusen last year.
Now, it looks as though the England captain is set to reunite with his former side after a new announcement.

Tottenham set to take on Bayern Munich in pre-season clash
Tottenham have had a rocky time since Kane left for Germany and Ange Postecoglou took the reins.
A hugely disappointing league campaign has left Postecoglou’s future at the Lilywhites uncertain.
All-time Stats | Matches | Goals | Assists | Minutes |
Harry Kane | 435 | 280 | 63 | 34.850′ |
However, fans can at least look forward to a reunion with Kane this summer after Tottenham announced on Friday (16 May) that they will take on Bayern Munich in the Telekom Cup.
The pre-season clash will be hosted at the Allianz Arena on 7 August, where Kane will likely be reunited with his close friend and current Tottenham captain, Son Heung-min.
Tottenham’s full focus will be on the UEFA Europa League
Tottenham still have a chance to end their 17-year trophy drought this season by winning the Europa League final against Manchester United at the Estadio de San Mamés on Wednesday (21 May).
It is no secret that Postecoglou has had a difficult season with Tottenham currently 17th in the Premier League after a disappointing domestic campaign.
The Europa League final presents a chance for redemption for the 59-year-old and his team, who may be out the door if he fails to secure a win.
Lifting the Europa League trophy will be difficult for Postecoglou, as the Australian is without James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Lucas Bergvall for the final.
However, with Tottenham’s season on the line as well as his job, we may witness the impossible in the coming days.
