Tottenham seriously consider negotiations to sign Atalanta star Ederson as he catches Ange Postecoglou’s eye
Tottenham are “totally convinced” that Atalanta midfielder Ederson is the perfect player to play under Ange Postecoglou, according to GIVEMESPORT.
The digital news platform reported online (19 March) that Spurs have been tracking the Brazilian for the past two seasons and are considering making a move for the midfielder as an alternative to Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher.
Postecoglou is an admirer of Ederson’s ability to regain possession with Tottenham “totally convinced” that the 24-year-old would fit into the Australian’s style of play, while also having room to improve.
Juventus are also interested in Ederson but are set to prioritise moves for other players this summer, which hands Postecoglou’s side a serious advantage in their pursuit of the Serie A star.

It has been a positive debut season in North London for Postecoglou, and the 58-year-old will be keen for reinforcements to be brought into the club so he can continue to build his Tottenham team.
If Postecoglou is convinced by Ederson as reports have suggested, then Levy should be doing everything in his power to bring the player to the club.
With Juventus set to look elsewhere, it appears that Spurs have a real opportunity to lure Ederson to the Premier League, and that is an opportunity which they should take advantage of.
With Lucas Bergvall already set to arrive at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer, Spurs must continue to add to this in order to build a squad which can compete at the summit of England’s top flight.
