Tottenham final Premier League points tally predicted by supercomputer
Tottenham’s 5-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday left the North Londoners 16th in the Premier League.
Ange Postecoglou’s men have suffered 19 defeats in the top flight this season, epitomising how poor they have been.
Chairman Daniel Levy has been left unimpressed by Tottenham’s poor performances and will likely sack Postecoglou even if Spurs win the Europa League.
The Australian has kept himself in the dugout for now, though, by steering Tottenham to the Europa League semi-finals, where they face Bodo/Glimt.

Tottenham set to remain 16th in Premier League
Spurs face the biggest game of their season on Thursday, when they host Bodo/Glimt for a European semi-final at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Postecoglou’s attention will then turn to Sunday’s away trip to London rivals West Ham, who could leapfrog Spurs with a win.
Meanwhile, Opta’s supercomputer has predicted that Tottenham will earn a final tally of just 42 points and finish 16th in the Premier League.

Levy must get his next managerial appointment right
While Levy appears set to sack Postecoglou, regardless of the North Londoners’ chances of Europa League success, he must get his next managerial appointment spot on.
Opponent | Result |
Wolves (A) | 4-2 L |
Frankfurt (A) | 0-1 W |
Nottingham Forest (H) | 1-2 L |
Liverpool (A) | 5-1 L |
Just last season, Spurs finished fifth in the Premier League and were just two points shy of landing a Champions League spot.
That made the Tottenham faithful hope that the current top-flight campaign would be a promising one, but it has proved to be anything but positive.
With Postecoglou’s future with Spurs looking increasingly bleak, the North London outfit have opted against the potential appointment of former Barcelona boss Xavi.
But Levy appears more interested in hiring either Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola or Brentford boss Thomas Frank, while both the Cherries and the Bees will finish above Tottenham in the Premier League.
Ironically, Postecoglou could yet depart Spurs as a hero if he guides the North Londoners to Europa League glory and their first trophy since 2008.
