
Tottenham player sends message as Dele Alli admits to surprise return
Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke has sent a message to Dele Alli after a surprise development.
Alli was a big part of one of the most successful Spurs teams of the modern era. As a result, the 28-year-old is remembered fondly in North London.
The former MK Dons star has had a difficult couple of years with injuries and recently looked to get back on track by joining Como in Italy, with Tottenham News front and centre of the transfer announcement.
That love and admiration for Alli from his fellow professionals was made clear when James Maddison sent a message to the former Spurs star after his move to Como was made official.
And Solanke has now become the latest Tottenham player to react after Alli shared a surprise admission.

Solanke reacts as Alli admits to surprise return
Alli recently returned to a matchday squad for the first time in more than two years, much to the delight of Tottenham supporters.
The midfielder was an unused substitute as Como lost 2-1 to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico in the Serie A on Sunday, 2 March.
Alli was once again on the bench for his side’s 2-1 Serie A defeat to AC Milan at the San Siro on Saturday (15 March), but this time the former Spurs man would make it onto the pitch for his first competitive appearance since February 2023.

However, it would end in disappointment after the former England international was sent off for a challenge on his fellow countryman Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Alli took to Instagram after the match to react to his return, writing, “2 years! Not necessarily how I planned it, but we keep moving”.
It is understandable why the playmaker was surprised by the disappointing nature of his return. However, the comments were still positive, with Solanke responding with two encouraging emojis under the post.
Tottenham fans will wish Alli the best
It has been suggested that Alli could one day return to Tottenham.
Therefore, unless he is playing against the club, Spurs supporters will no doubt want the best for Alli every time he steps onto the football pitch.
Therefore, they would have been disappointed to see the player sent off on his return. However, the main thing is that Alli is back, and he will no doubt be raring to get back on the pitch once he has served his suspension.
