Tottenham next manager: Levy told to rethink after bombshell claim from Euro boss
Tottenham supporters have urged Daniel Levy on social media not to appoint Edin Terzic as Ange Postecoglou’s potential successor.
Postecoglou is under increasing pressure in North London after the 2-2 draw against Wolves on Sunday (29 December), as his tactical approach remains a hot topic of discussion.
According to Besiktas president Serdal Adali via Tivibu Spor [28 December], Terzic informed the Turkish Super Lig outfit that he expects to become the next manager of Tottenham in a bombshell claim.
However, Spurs supporters have voiced their opinions on social media, and the overall consensus is damning for the former Borussia Dortmund boss.
Tottenham fans do not want Edin Terzic to replace Ange Postecoglou
While the 42-year-old heroically led Borussia Dortmund to the Champions League final last year against all the odds, his credentials have not left the Tottenham faithful overly impressed.
Postecoglou is believed not to have been in danger of dismissal heading into the clash against Wolves at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium [The Telegraph], but surrendering a one-goal lead in the dying embers of the match will not have done the Australian any favours.
However, should Spurs choose to move in a different direction, Terzic is undoubtedly not the overwhelming favourite to be appointed in North London with one supporter, rather ignorantly, claiming “I honestly have no idea who he is”.
Another supporter believes the German would be a hopeless appointment, writing: “Seeing so many suggest Terzic which makes me sigh so much he would be hopeless.”

Tottenham will head into the New Year as a bottom-half-table side and a monumental 11 point-gap to fourth-place Chelsea.
Postecoglou missed out on Champions League qualification to Aston Villa in the final weeks of the season last term – he stands a very slim chance of mounting a challenge to qualify this year.
He may not be at the helm in North London come May, but Levy now has his answer on who not to appoint should the time come.
