Tottenham news round-up: ‘Unbelievable’ Frank update as Grealish acceptance emerges
Tottenham have endured a hectic period since their Europa League triumph with the club now chasing a new manager amid several links with potential big-money targets.
Ange Postecoglou was controversially dismissed, despite delivering the club its first major trophy in 17 years. Thomas Frank has now emerged as the leading candidate to take over in N17, after the North London outfit had reportedly considered the likes of Marco Silva and Mauricio Pochettino.
Daniel Levy and Co. want to arm their new man with a significant signing to help boost their hopes next season, with Jack Grealish, Bryan Mbeumo and Antoine Semenyo all having been heavily linked with a switch to Tottenham already.

Tottenham are ready to progress Branthwaite interest
Tottenham are expected to substantiate their interest in Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite in the near future, according to the Daily Mail (9 June).
Spurs are believed to be lining up the 22-year-old as a potential replacement for Cristian Romero, who is being touted for a move to Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.
Branthwaite is recognised as one of England’s brightest young defensive talents, and Spurs would need to spend big money if they wanted to bring him in.
The Lilywhites are seemingly readying a bid for the Everton man, who would represent a significant coup if they could pull off a deal.

Jack Grealish has ‘accepted’ he has no future at Man City
One of Tottenham’s biggest transfer pursuits so far has been their chase of Manchester City’s outcast star, Jack Grealish.
The attacker is set to be left out of Pep Guardiola’s squad for the upcoming Club World Cup, and he has now accepted that his time with the club is over.
That gives the green light for the 29-year-old to depart the Etihad Stadium and to begin working on finding his next club, and Tottenham are reportedly understood to hold a “genuine interest” in the England international.

Tottenham edging closer to Frank appointment
Spurs are edging closer to appointing Brentford’s Thomas Frank as their next permanent boss, with talks having entered a third consecutive day, according to The Independent (11 June).
An agreement over a compensation package to be paid by Tottenham is thought to be close, with the North London side also needing to pay the Dane’s £10million release clause to break him away from his contract.
Frank has been branded as an “unbelievable” coach by Brentford centre back Nathan Collins, who has admitted that it will be a huge disappointment for the entire club if they are to lose him.
