Tottenham news round-up: Levy has no excuses as Son’s next club lined up
Tottenham fans will have expected a busy summer, and so it has proven to be.
With the transfer window having reopened this week and the Premier League fixtures being published on Wednesday (18 June), there is no shortage of news headlines involving Spurs.
Here, Tottenham Hotspur News rounds up the biggest headlines from the last 24 hours.

Tottenham Premier League fixtures released
Tottenham have been gifted a relatively easy start to the 2025-26 season. They’ll certainly be looking to pick up maximum points in the opening run of home games.
However, it’s possible that Daniel Levy could be calling the Premier League to try and change the date of their opening fixture.
Spurs host Burnley on Saturday 16 August, just three days after they participate in the UEFA Super Cup final.
There’s no reason why the Premier League couldn’t move that game backwards to give the Lilywhites more time to recover from that fixture.
Spurs keen to sign £30million Rennes striker Arnaud Kalimuendo
Tottenham are in the market for a new striker, and Rennes striker Arnaud Kalimuendo could fit the bill.
Manager Thomas Frank is a fan of the striker, who would likely command a fee in the region of £30million.
Figures in the media have suggested that talks between Spurs and Kalimuendo are accelerating, meaning he could become the new manager’s first signing.

Levy hints that there should be plenty for Spurs to spend this summer
Tottenham owner Levy has been interviewed about Tottenham’s transfer strategy moving forward, and the quotes make good reading for Spurs fans.
During the interview, Levy said there was no point Tottenham investing in a world-class stadium if the money it generated wasn’t invested in the first team.
There will be a lot of money coming in as a result of Spurs qualifying for the Champions League as well, meaning there can be no excuses when it comes to incoming activity this summer.
Son ‘already has his next club lined up’
It’s impossible to escape the speculation suggesting that Son Heung-min will leave North London this summer.
The Spurs captain has been linked with moves to clubs in several countries, including Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

In an exclusive interview with Tottenham Hotspur News, former Tottenham chief scout Bryan King said that Son will likely already have his next club lined up.
However, the Korean winger isn’t expected to confirm his exit until the squad finishes its tour of Asia.
