Kudus release clause only lasts 10 days

Tottenham confirmed their interest in Mohammed Kudus with a reported £50million bid earlier this week.

This bid was significantly below the £85m release clause in Kudus’ contract which would guarantee Spurs the right to negotiate with the midfielder.

It had been suggested this low-ball offer was made to ‘test the waters’, but Tottenham won’t have much time for these negotiations.

It has now been revealed that Kudus’ release clause only lasts between 1-10 July. So, if this deal is going to be done, it will likely have to be sooner rather than later.

Cassanova signs new deal

Many fringe players may fear being deemed as disposable now that Tottenham have a new manager.

However, Dante Cassanova is one player who appears to have a long and bright future in North London.

Cassanova has signed a new contract that will keep him at Spurs until 2027 at the very least. The 20-year-old announced the news on Instagram and received many congratulations from his teammates.

Alfie Whiteman confirms his departure

Alfie Whiteman’s future lies away from Tottenham after his release from the club was confirmed.

Whiteman was promoted from Spurs’ youth academy, but never made a Premier League appearance for the club.

He joins fellow goalkeeper Fraser Forster in looking for a brand new club. Josh Keeley is also expected to be loaned out for the whole of next season.

This news is likely to mean that Guglielmo Vicario, Antonin Kinsky and Brandon Austin will remain at the club next season.

Frank may be keen to help hold of Mikey Moore

It has been rumoured that Mikey Moore will be sent out on loan for the season to gain some first-experience.

West Brom are the club most strongly linked with Moore, as Baggies manager Ryan Mason knows the youngster from his time as Spurs assistant manager.

However, former Brentford manager Martin Allen believes that Frank will want to keep him in his squad.

Allen believes that Moore could be a good impact player for Spurs in cup games or off the substitutes’ bench next season.
