It is absolutely crucial that Daniel Levy backs his new manager to ensure that he can build on the success that Ange Postecoglou delivered last season.

Tottenham set to miss out on Grealish amid Everton developments

Tottenham will not be signing Jack Grealish, as Everton are set to add him to their squad.

The 29-year-old was seen as a perfect replacement for Maddison by some observers, but it appears that the Blues have won the battle for his services.

Fabrizio Romano (11 August) claimed that the England ace has agreed to join the Toffees on a season-long loan deal.

He stated that Grealish has agreed to the project on Merseyside, and he is set to undergo a medical.

Man City set Savinho asking price as Tottenham open talks

Man City’s demands to sell Tottenham target Savinho have been revealed after the Europa League winners made their approach.

talkSPORT reporter Ben Jacobs (11 August) claimed that City will only sanction an exit for the Brazilian if he requests to leave, but would prefer to keep him.

He stated that a deal is possible, but it would cost over £45million to bring the 21-year-old to North London.

Guardiola has already given his verdict on Tottenham target Savinho

Pep Guardiola really rates Tottenham target Savinho.

After the 13-cap Brazil star scored his first goal for the Citizens against Leicester in December 2024, the Spaniard labelled him as “incredible”.

Speaking after the contest, he said: “He’s a guy who can play on both sides; today he finally scored a goal.

“He has an incredible ability and quality he’s proven in that period.

“He arrived in the six months when the team isn’t in the best moment than maybe he expected, compared with the past.”

Tottenham handed Solanke blow ahead of PSG clash

Dominic Solanke looks set to miss out on the UEFA Super Cup clash with Paris Saint-Germain.

The England forward is still nursing an injury, and Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham has tipped Richarlison to get the nod.

Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, he said: “We’ve seen Richarlison get lots of minutes in pre-season, while Solanke’s only played that first half at Reading.

“Therefore, despite the talk about Richarlison leaving and everything else, we’re probably looking at him starting the Super Cup.”
