Spurs supporters will love Paul Merson’s prediction for the Man City encounter on 26 February.

Both sides have endured miserable campaigns with Pep Guardiola’s side clinging onto a top four place and Spurs sitting in 12th position.

The former Arsenal man has backed the North London outfit to take all three points in his predictions for Sportskeeda (24 February).

He said: “I expect Tottenham to trouble City. If Erling Haaland isn’t fit and it becomes an end-to-end game, I have to back Spurs for the win.

Tottenham dealt new defender blow ahead of Man City clash

Ange Postecoglou has revealed a fresh injury blow ahead of the clash with Guardiola’s side.

The Australian provided a negative update on Ben Davies in his pre-match press conference ahead of the contest.

The Welshman missed the victory over Ipswich but was expected to return for the Tottenham Hotspur stadium contest but he is now set to miss the game.

Postecoglou said: “We were hoping maybe Ben [Davies] would be ready for this game, but he won’t make it. We’ve got a seven-day break (after City), so, he’ll miss out.”

Tottenham Europa League chances predicted

Tottenham supporters will be encouraged by the latest prediction for their Europa League chances after they were drawn to face AZ Alkmaar.

The Opta Analyst supercomputer gives Spurs a 13.2 per cent chance of winning the competition, which is higher than their pre-round of 16 draw figure of 12.9 per cent.

The Lilywhites are the joint-second favourites with Atheltic Bilbao on the same percentage and Lazio leading the way with a 20 per cent likelihood.

‘Frustrated’ Son could leave Tottenham

Paul Robinson shared his view on a potential Son Heung-,in exit in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News.

While he acknowledges that it has been a frustrating season for the South Korean star, the former Spurs goalkeeper expects him to stay in North London.

He said: “I honestly think that he’s got more to give and I can’t see the club dealing. I don’t see the benefit of him doing a deal at the end of the season.”
