Harry Kane and Dominic Solanke lead Djed Spence reaction

Spence received his first England cap from Thomas Tuchel, coming on as a substitute in the 69th minute.

In making his first appearance for the Three Lions, the left back also became the first muslim to represent the men’s team.

Kane handed Spence his cap and spoke of his emotion while delivering a speech in the England dressing room.

Then, Solanke and several other Spurs players reacted to Spence’s performance and were clearly buzzing for their teammate.

Daniel Levy reaction continues at Tottenham

Levy always found it difficult to escape the spotlight, and that will continue despite his departure from Hotspur Way.

Alan Brazil revealed a conversation with former Tottenham players about the 63-year-old and how they all spoke positively about his reign.

Meanwhile, former Spurs manager David Pleat described Levy’s ambition and how he was ruthless while he worked with him.

Indeed, the former executive chairman has continued to be praised for his running of the club despite criticism about spending.

Spurs bank £90m from financing deal

Tottenham have raised around £90million through a financing deal with Macquarie Group Ltd.

The Lilywhites have agreed to give Macquarie income from future broadcasting rights in return for a lump sum of cash, while the Australian lender will also receive a fee and interest.

This is not the first time that Macquarie has done this with a Premier League club, as they previously gave Nottingham Forest a £28m loan in 2023.

A recent club statement said: “The recent changes are all part of the club’s ambition to ensure that it is set up to deliver long-term sporting success.”
