Ange Postecoglou to be joined by former Tottenham staff at Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest announced on 9 September that former Spurs coach Ange Postecoglou as their new manager.

The Australian will take over from Nuno Espirito Santo, who led Forest to European football last season.

Not only will he return to the Premier League, but Postecoglou will be joined by members of his Tottenham backroom team at Forest, according to David Ornstein via his X account.

Rodrigo Bentancur open to La Liga switch

Rodrigo Bentancur is in the final year of his Tottenham contract and is free to talk with other clubs in January regarding a move as a free agent.

The midfielder has seen his importance grow under Thomas Frank. However, he could still leave Hotspur Way this summer.

Atletico Madrid are showing a sustained interest in Tottenham’s Bentancur after making it clear over the summer. Diego Simeone’s men would “seriously value” the addition of Bentancur to their team in the coming months, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.

Despite being unwilling to pay a transfer fee for the defensive midfielder, Atletico are keen on signing him for free. It is believed that Bentancur “would welcome” his first experience in La Liga.
