Tottenham News make waves front and centre of Dele Alli announcement

Tottenham News was front and centre of Como’s announcement that they had signed Dele Alli.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano via X on Saturday (18 January), Alli had agreed a deal with the Italian outfit and was set to sign a contract until 2026.

On Sunday (19 January) Como confirmed the news, announcing via their official X account that the former Spurs star had signed for the club.

And featured front and centre of the announcement video was Tottenham News’ update on Romano reporting that Alli was on his way to the Serie A.

Everybody connected with Spurs will no doubt wish Alli the best and hope to see the former Spurs star get his career back on track under Cesc Fabregas in Italy.

Como are currently just one place above the drop zone in the Serie A. Therefore, they will hope that by adding a player of Alli’s quality to their ranks they can help the Englishman rediscover his best form. As a result, that in turn can then help the club avoid the drop.

Alli scored 67 goals and provided 57 assists in 269 games for Spurs and was part of arguably the club’s greatest team in the Premier League era. Therefore, it would be surprising if anybody connected with Tottenham wishes Alli anything but the best, with a potential return to North London having even been mooted previously.

However, that appears to be off the cards now. Therefore, Alli’s full focus will be on reviving his career in Italy.
