Tottenham news: Major Fabio Paratici twist emerges in return update
Fabio Paratici has been linked with a return to Tottenham after leaving the club in 2023.
Paratici resigned from his position as managing director of football at Tottenham in April 2023 after he was banned from working in football for 30 months for his role in alleged false accounting at his former club, Juventus.
However, the Italian has been allowed to continue working as an external consultant to Daniel Levy and has helped assist Tottenham in transfer windows since resigning.
In addition, he has even been backed to help Spurs arrange a meeting with Xavi should Ange Postecoglou be sacked.
Therefore, with Paratici’s suspension set to end in June, a return to Tottenham has been mooted, and a major update has now emerged.

Paratici twist emerges after big-money offer from Levy
While speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, ex-Spurs scout Bryan King speculated that Levy could make Paratici a big-money offer to return to Tottenham.
Following this, it emerged that Levy had held a meeting with Paratici, as Tottenham “forcefully entered the race” for the 52-year-old’s signature [Radio Rossonera].
Club | Role | Dates |
Sampdoria | Chief Scout | July 20024-June 2010 |
Juventus | Sporting Director | July 2010-May 2021 |
Tottenham | Sporting Director | July 2021-April 2023 |
However, as reported by The Telegraph on Friday (28 March), these suggestions are wide of the mark, and Tottenham have not yet held talks with Paratici over returning to a full-time position in North London.
Paratici is keen to make a swift return to football and has been eyeing up a range of possibilities, with Juventus and AC Milan both linked as well as Tottenham.
Levy needs to change something at Tottenham
Whether or not Paratici is reappointed, something needs to change behind the scenes at Tottenham.
It has been a miserable season for supporters, and the expectation will be that changes are made in the summer to ensure that next season is a much more positive one, with Johan Lange potentially on the chopping block.
However, whether or not Paratici is part of those changes remains to be seen.
