Tottenham make Mikey Moore announcement, everyone responds with ‘Levy Out’

Mikey Moore is easily one of Tottenham’s best upcoming talents.

The Spurs academy product has already played 19 times for the first team, despite being just 17 years of age.

Outside of London, the winger is also highly rated, with Moore named on the NXGN list in March.

As a result, Moore has been linked with loan moves in recent weeks as Tottenham look to help the attacker reach his potential.

However, one of the 17-year-old’s recent achievements has been overshadowed by the ongoing chaos at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham fans call for Daniel Levy to go in Moore England U19s announcement

Daniel Levy has proved to be a highly unpopular figure at Tottenham.

Protests were held against Levy regularly in the 2024/25 campaign as Spurs sank down the Premier League table.

Now, the Tottenham chairman is at the centre of more controversy after he decided to sack Ange Postecoglou last week despite the Australian winning the Europa League in May.

Levy has been slammed by Tottenham fans for how the “embarrassing” saga has unfolded.

Now, this has spilt over onto Tottenham’s Official Instagram page (9 June).

The London club announced that Spurs duo Moore and Reiss-Alexander Russell-Denny had been called up to the England Under 19s squad ahead of the upcoming Euro finals in Romania.

However, Tottenham fans took this opportunity to scrutinise the chairman, with the comment section littered with “Levy Out” calls.

Levy needs to step down as soon as managerial saga is over

With Thomas Frank looking likely to be the next Tottenham manager, Levy needs to step down as soon as the Dane is appointed.

The Spurs chairman has proved in recent weeks that he is out of his depth at the London club.

This incompetence will inevitably send Tottenham backwards, and they could easily be in a relegation battle next season if Levy is at the helm.

Success at a football club starts at the top, and the 63-year-old has done nothing to prove that he is capable of delivering consistent trophies at Spurs since 2001.
