Tottenham make contact with Galatasaray over Kerem Akturkoglu – report
Tottenham have contacted Galatasaray asking for information about Kerem Akturkoglu as well as requesting a meeting with the player, according to Aksam.
The Turkish news outlet reported online (16 October), that Spurs are one of a number of Premier League clubs monitoring the winger, with Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal also interested in his services.
Spurs are looking to beat their rivals to the Turkey international’s signature, with Arsenal described as “seriously interested”.

Galatasaray are keen to offer Akturkoglu a new contract in order to hold on to the 24-year-old, who has scored five goals and provided seven assists in 16 appearances this season.
Ex-Spurs scout Bryan King told Tottenham News:
“You can never have enough quality, and while there are still two and a half months until the transfer window, injuries, unhappy players and players who can be sold all need to be taken into consideration.
“So there is no reason why Spurs shouldn’t already be looking at players.

“In my opinion, the club should be looking for another striker and certainly wide players, so this fits the mould. I think the defence is pretty safe at the moment, so I would say the two wide players are areas where Tottenham should be looking.”
In other Tottenham news, John Wenham has claimed that there is one player in Spurs’ academy who reminds him of Brighton star Tariq Lamptey.
