Tottenham January transfer plans already in full swing as Thomas Frank reveals imminent meeting
Tottenham have seen their attention turn firmly towards on-pitch matters after a busy summer transfer window.
The Lilywhites secured eight new signings throughout the window, and the focus is now on ensuring they can all be bedded into Thomas Frank’s plans as quickly as possible.
Tottenham have made a bright start in the Premier League, and they will be hoping to continue that on Saturday afternoon, when they travel to take on Leeds United in the early kick-off.
However, while the return to competitive action has understandably dominated discussions in recent weeks, the hierarchy in North London have already set the cogs in motion for their January moves.

Thomas Frank set for meeting with Johan Lange and Vinai Venkatesham
Tottenham were working hard to strengthen their squad right until the summer deadline day, with Randal Kolo Muani coming through the door a matter of hours before the cut-off.
The N17 outfit added some quality options to their ranks, and certainly were not afraid to splash the cash, as over £183million worth of talent arrived to bolster their options throughout the summer.
- Spurs completed eight new signings during the summer window
- They splashed over £100m across Mohammed Kudus and Xavi Simons alone
- Tottenham made a loss of around £147m with their summer business
However, in the ever-changing environment of top-level football, there is little time for them to rest on their laurels, and plans are already underway to ensure that they maximise the opportunities available to them in January.
Frank has made it clear that the duo of Vinai Venkatesham and Johan Lange are already planning ahead, and he is due to meet with the pair in the near future to discuss the aims for the squad.

“Everyone is well organised,” the Dane told Football London.
“A week after the window shuts or two weeks maximum, they will start preparing the next following windows. So of course, Vinai (Venkatesham) and Johan (Lange) are on top of that, preparing that.
“We will have a meeting relatively soon where we will start to talk about it and progress the plans from there.”
Tottenham do not need a heavy turnover in January
Kolo Muani is close to returning for Tottenham in the next few weeks, which should address some of the concerns that have emerged at the top of the pitch.
If the Frenchman can come in and have an impact on the group, then there isn’t really an obvious position of weakness for the N17 outfit when it comes to winter reinforcements.
The focus should be on targeting perhaps just one or two additions who can really add something different to the squad, rather than on any wholesale changes.
A sprinkling of extra quality should be enough to give Spurs the boost that they need, rather than another attempted overhaul.
