Tottenham ‘in a hurry’ as official Daniel Levy paperwork emerges online after exit
Daniel Levy may have only just departed Tottenham, but they are wasting no time in moving on.
Spurs staff have been shocked by Levy’s departure after they were informed of his exit via email.
While the 63-year-old was a polarising figure in North London, former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp praised Levy’s impact.
Now, it seems that the Lilywhites are acting with haste after important paperwork has come to light.

Tottenham terminate Daniel Levy at Companies House
The departure of Levy from Spurs could mean that a takeover of the North London club is imminent.
Levy was executive chairman of the Lilywhites for 24 years, but his tenure was criticised due to a perceived lack of investment.
Indeed, several protests were held against him last year, with action even happening within the stadium.
This summer, Tottenham spent significantly, with Mohammed Kudus and Xavi Simons the two big arrivals.
Despite almost a quarter of a century of service, the North London club have wasted no time in erasing him.
- Spurs won two trophies during Levy’s tenure
- They were regular participants in the Champions League
- He is responsible for their admired stadium
That is because images of online paperwork show that Levy’s appointment has been terminated at Companies House, according to Kieran Maguire via X on 5 September, who stated “Spurs are in a hurry” to get him off the books.
Maguire then joked that if they had acted as efficiently when trying to sign Eberechi Eze, then he might have joined.

What will life be like for Spurs after Daniel Levy?
During his recent interview with Gary Neville, Levy spoke of making Tottenham a sustainable football club.
Indeed, he also shared his feelings about Chelsea’s spending and was critical of what they have done.
However, with the 63-year-old out the door, the Lilywhites could now follow a similar path to their London rivals.
Spurs have generated substantial revenue over the past year, meaning that they are in a strong financial position.
Indeed, if the Premier League club is sold, then significant investment should happen over the following transfer windows.
