Tottenham hold new Thomas Frank talks after major Postecoglou sack update
Tottenham have initiated talks with Thomas Frank to become their next manager.
All eyes will be on North London over the next few days as the pressure keeps piling on Ange Postecoglou, despite the success that he has found at Tottenham.
His famous “I always win trophies in my second season” claim came to fruition via the Europa League, though that is unlikely to be enough to preserve his career in North London.
A huge update dropped on the future of the Australian this week, and Spurs have already turned their attention to the appointment of Frank.

Postecoglou set to be sacked at Tottenham
It seemed a foregone conclusion that Postecoglou would be sacked if Spurs failed to win the Europa League, though, because they did, questions started growing as to what step Tottenham would take next.
However, a report from Football Insider (1 June) appears to have cleared up that uncertainty, with it claimed that Spurs have decided to sack Postecoglou.
The report adds that the chiefs in North London have made the decision to end his tenure at Tottenham, less than two weeks after he delivered the first major trophy to Tottenham in 17 years.
Matches | Wins | Draws | Losses |

Added to that, Santi Aouna has claimed, via X, that Tottenham have now had “direct contact” with Brentford boss Frank, with plans and projects laid out to him.
Several candidates are still under consideration, but the future of Frank is certainly one that is heating up.
Daniel Levy set to make ruthless Tottenham call
Many will see Postecoglou’s potential sacking as harsh, though when taking into account their Premier League finish, those claims will ultimately fall on deaf ears.
Postecoglou led Spurs to a 17th-placed finish in the league, and had it not been for a lack of quality in the bottom three, relegation would have been a genuine concern.
If Postecoglou is sacked, it will showcase the fact that Daniel Levy isn’t scared of making the big decisions ahead of what will be a crucial summer.
