Tottenham hold discussion with INEOS in new sponsorship development

Tottenham are in discussion with Manchester United co-owners INEOS, which could affect their sponsorship deal.

The North Londoners signed a multi-million five-year deal with INEOS back in 2022 to be their official 4 x 4 partner with the Grenadier vehicle.

Daniel Levy is under pressure at Spurs as supporters want to see the chairman leave after the mismanagement of funds in recent years, particularly regarding transfers.

The 63-year-old is now in talks with Jim Ratcliffe’s company as new developments have emerged in N17.

Tottenham and INEOS in talks over sponsorship deal

INEOS have held discussions to make an early exit from their sponsorship deal with the Lilywhites, according to the Daily Mail.

The news outlet reports (19 February) that both parties have held amicable talks to let the petrochemicals giants prematurely withdraw from their agreement.

The INEOS branding can be seen all around the North London outfit’s stadium.

It has been claimed that the deal may be worth several millions, and it remains to be seen what Tottenham decide to do.

Daniel Levy has big INEOS decision to make

Levy has made some lucrative deals at Spurs to boost the team’s funds, but that hasn’t reflected in the transfer market in most cases.

In the winter transfer window, Spurs signed Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel late in the window after some poor results on the pitch.

Protests against Levy and ENIC have taken place after what has been one of the worst seasons at the North London outfit.

Ange Postecoglou has struggled to win games consistently in the current campaign, but the injury issues haven’t helped the head coach.

Tottenham have had a poor run in their last six fixtures.

Levy was meant to help the Australian manager by handing him valuable reinforcements in the winter window but seemed reluctant.

As a result, the Lilywhites find themselves out of the Carabao and FA Cup, and the hopes of ending the trophy drought in N17 have dwindled.

Spurs haven’t been anywhere near their best in the Premier League, but Europe could be the stage for the North Londoners to end the season on a high.

In the future, how the INEOS deal will affect the Lilywhites’ financial situation will be interesting.
