Tottenham told to ‘sell Son as soon as possible’ after what he did v Frankfurt
Heung-Min Son failed to make an impact yet again as Tottenham were held to a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final with Frankfurt.
Spurs fell behind when Hugo Ekitike opened the scoring after just six minutes on Thursday, but Ange Postecoglou’s men equalised sensationally through Pedro Porro.
Postecoglou took major action in the second half in search of a winner when he made a triple substitution with just over 10 minutes left to play.
Destiny Udogie, Son, and James Maddison all made way for Djed Spence, Mathys Tel and Pape Sarr.

Tottenham fans want to see the back of Son
Son has now played five consecutive games for Tottenham without managing to score a goal, and Spurs supporters have seemingly had enough of the South Korea international.

Spurs may struggle in the second leg with Frankfurt
Thanks to their poor domestic season, in which Spurs sit just 14th in the Premier League despite their 3-1 victory over Southampton last weekend, Postecoglou’s men can only clinch silverware via the Europa League.
However, the North London club may find it difficult to overcome the challenge posed by Frankfurt on away soil next week over in Germany.
Dino Toppmoller’s men demonstrated their quality early on in Thursday’s encounter with Tottenham, as Ekitike established an early lead for the Bundesliga side.
Frankfurt are one of the best sides in Germany this term and deservedly sit third in the Bundesliga, having won 14 of their 28 fixtures so far this season.
Postecoglou and Co could, therefore, find it tough to navigate the challenge of their Europa League quarter-final second leg at Deutsche Bank Park.
Frankfurt have not lost on home soil since a 2-1 defeat to Union Berlin on 9 March and will be determined to keep their form intact against Spurs to progress to the last four.
Should the inevitable happen, Son and Postecoglou could have their backs against the wall.
