Tottenham fans will love touching moment between two of Mauricio Pochettino’s former stars
Tottenham continue to transition after the shock exit of chairman Daniel Levy in September.
Thomas Frank has settled in at Tottenham, as fans are starting to warm to him, after the sacking of Ange Postecoglou.
Frank emerged as a leading candidate for the role of head coach this summer, but Mauricio Pochettino was also linked with a shock Tottenham return.
Tottenham fans have fantasised about a Pochettino return for years, but it was also the players he had that made his time so fondly remembered.
Two of the biggest stars under Poch have just shared a wholesome moment on Wednesday that will melt Spurs fans’ hearts.

Eric Dier dedicates his goal against Manchester City to former teammate Harry Kane
Eric Dier left Tottenham permanently in 2024 to join Bayern Munich, the team that Harry Kane was also sold too.
Kane and Dier were both teammates at Bayern last season, but Dier has now moved on to the French side Monaco, but still clearly holds Kane close to his heart from his Tottenham and England days.

Speaking to TNT Sports Football post-match against Manchester City, Dier explained how he dedicated his late penalty goal against City to former teammate Kane.
“No, I dedicate it to my friend Harry [Kane], because maybe he’s watching this channel.
“Yeah, I watched him for a long time and I learned a few pointers, and I’ve taken them here.”
Dier was admired greatly for his time at Spurs, but he left when it felt right for all parties. With Kane, however, it still feels like there’s unfinished business.
Kane could still yet make a shock return to Tottenham
Kane has been touted for a sensational Spurs return, as he would be welcomed with open arms back to the club.
Daniel Levy’s exit has increased the chances of Kane’s return, as the England captain would be a perfect fit in Frank’s system, easily fixing the current striker crisis.
Spurs still have some off-the-field issues that need to be resolved, but things are only looking better and better for a Kane return, as the striker is still among the world’s best.
